Dry needling gebruikt een \u2018droge\u2019 (dry) acupunctuurnaald, er wordt dus geen vloeistof in de spier gespoten.<br \/>\n<strong>Dry needling: anders dan acupunctuur<\/strong><br \/>\nBij acupunctuur worden vaak oppervlakkig meerdere naalden in het lichaam gezet, die daar enige tijd blijven zitten en invloed hebben op de \u2018energie\u2019 in het lichaam. Bij dry needling gebruikt de fysiotherapeut meestal \u00e9\u00e9n naald, waarmee hij kortdurend de spier prikkelt. Hij prikt op specifieke punten, de zogenaamde \u2018triggerpoints\u2019. Het is dus geen \u2018energiebehandeling\u2019.<br \/>\n<strong>Met weke klachten kan je terecht?<\/strong><br \/>\nBij de volgende klachten kan dry needling uitkomst bieden:<br \/>\nPijn\/stijfheid in een spier; pijn op \u2018afstand\u2019<br \/>\nBewegingsbeperkingen in bijbehorende gewrichten<br \/>\nVerminderde kracht in de betrokken spier(en)<br \/>\nPijnontwijkend gedrag: je gaat \u2018anders\u2019 bewegen<br \/>\nTintelingen in arm\/been, hoofdpijn, duizeligheid<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Wat is het?
